Spokesperson of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters issued a statement on Sunday, strongly warning against the idea of sending US troops to occupy Iranian islands. The full text of the statement is as following:
"Trump, the President of the United States, has repeatedly threatened Iran with ground operations and the occupation of some islands in the Persian Gulf. There is no doubt that the U.S. President, under pressure from the terrorist organization Mossad — due to his record in the Epstein case — has become a tool in the hands of the Israeli regime's Prime Minister for war and aggression against Iran."
"The U.S. President, who has become known as the most dishonest president among world nations, possesses no intellectual or discursive consistency, and is by no means trustworthy. Unfortunately, American leaders have entrusted command authority over the armed forces to someone whose instability, dangerous stances, and erroneous decisions have plunged the U.S. military into a quagmire of death."
"Trump — whose commanders and soldiers daily grapple with death in the region, fleeing from destroyed bases out of fear of being killed, and taking refuge in service, population, and economic centers of regional countries, where they are also targeted — expects resistance from his commanders and soldiers on the battlefield while he and senior leaders of the disgraced U.S. military remain thousands of kilometers away! Trump beats the drum of threat over an issue one morning, only to retreat by evening. One moment he speaks of negotiation, and hours later he decides to wage war."
"This unstable and mendacious individual has inflicted immense damage upon the people of America, Europe, and the world, especially the nations of West Asia."
"The U.S. President has proven that the only language he understands is the language of force. In response to Trump's recent threats of ground operations or occupation of any part of Iranian territories — which are nothing but a fantasy — we declare: The warriors of Islam have long been awaiting such actions to prove that aggression and occupation will result in nothing but humiliating captivity, dismemberment, and disappearance of the aggressors, and that American commanders and soldiers will become good prey for the sharks of the Persian Gulf."
"It would be better for Trump and the leaders and commanders of the U.S. military to study Iran's history once, learn from how valiant Iranians have historically dealt with aggressors, and not drag their soldiers into captivity and death within the delusion of America's unbalanced president, nor cause widespread mourning among the American people. Iran's powerful, proud, and honorable armed forces are counting the moments to annihilate your army should the threat of the U.S. President — the embodiment of delusion and lies — be carried out."
